Hamilton, the musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda, focuses on the life and legacy of Alexander Hamilton, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. It explores themes of ambition, revolution, and the struggle for power, while also highlighting issues of immigration and identity. The story is told through a diverse cast and a contemporary blend of hip-hop, R&B, and traditional musical styles, bringing a modern perspective to historical events. Additionally, it delves into Hamilton's relationships with key figures like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and his wife, Eliza.
Article One of the Constitution provides for a federal district, separate from the states, to serve as the capital of the United States. The location of the federal district was the subject of heated debate however. In what later became known as the Compromise of 1790, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson came to an agreement that the federal government would assume debt incurred by the states during the Revolutionary War on the condition that the new national capital be located in the South. The Residence Act of 1790 subsequently authorized the creation of the federal district at a site along the Potomac River to be selected by George Washington.

James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and John Jay all wrote under the name Publius, latin for "public" I think. All of the essays they wrote were later put together and called the "Federalist Papers". I know James Madison played a major role in drafting and ratifying the Constitution, which was the main subject of the Federalist Papers, but I don't know if the Papers had a principal author.
The precedence of declaring an act of Congress unconstitutional and subject to Judicial Review was set.
There is significant scientific disagreement about this subject.
