Yes. British troops did not fight alongside the American's in the Vietnam war. However, British troops were stationed in South Vietnam on the 13th September 1945. They were charged with restoring French rule over Vietnam. They released French Military units previously arrested by the Japanese, maintained order and were to a drawn into clashes against the Viet Minh in Southern Vietnam. The French may not have been able to establish a foothold in Southern Vietnam and force the Viet Minh out of Saigon without British assistance.
America was Great Britains colony until 1783. Vietnam was Frances colony until 1954 (with a WWII break in between). Slaves came from Africa.
This has caused me great difficluty.
There were a number of elements that made fighting in Vietnam difficult. Among these were thick jungles, lack of acclimatization of occupying forces (French then US troops), difficulty identifying the enemy (a guerrilla force that blended with the homogenous population), lack of home front support (growing social unrest and antiwar sentiment), unclear objectives, ineffective (puppet) government in South Vietnam, unsteady ally government, long supply lines (approximately 8,000 miles of ocean between the US and Vietnam, and a host of other reasons.
In Vietnam European nation Great Britain tried to reassert their colonial. They also tried to claim Indochina.

The Vietnam war originally began as a "guerrilla war" this meant a great deal of fighting in the jungles between the North and the South. It eventually turned into a war in the air but this was much later.
The flu became deadly in 1980 because of the mutations it underwent. When the virus is not recognized by the human immune system, it has great difficulty fighting the infection.
we should face any difficulty with courage
Officially only Australian and New Zealanders fought in Vietnam, NOT men from Great Britain. ^^^ Wrong British troops did not fight alongside the American's in the Vietnam war.
