Difference between a library and a bookshop

A bookshop is a place where books{textbooks and big notes}are been purchased,while a library is a place where books that are purchased are been read.

A bookshop dn't only sell books but sell other stationaries.stationaries like,pencils,pen,ruler,erazer e.t.c,while a liberary is a place where information is been gotten or retrieved.
