Trotsky and Stalin's interpretations of Marxism differed greatly because Stalin was a Bolshevik while Trotsky was a Menshevik.
Leon Trotsky held many beliefs both in political science, economics and in Marxism. Leon Trotsky believed in the basics of Marxism. He believed that only a violent revolution could bring about a communist society in both Czarist Russia and the Russia ruled by a Provisional Government that replaced the czar when the czar had to abdicate. Trotsky understood how difficult it would be in transforming Russia to help its people. He believed that perseverance was necessary. He worked long and hard for the goal of creating a Marxist state in Russia. Trotsky also believed that Josef Stalin had abandoned Marxism and was directing the USSR into a one ruler State. That State would be controlled by Stalin.
I believe the communist party! Not certain but I think it was lead by Stalin! Before that it was Vladimir Ilyich Ulianov: Lenin, and his sidekick Lev Bronstein: Trotsky. Lenin died in 1924 & Trotsky was murdered in Mexico in 1940 by Stalins henchmen.
The only one who comes to mind is Leon Trotsky, he was exiled during Stalins reign (to Switzerland?) he was later assassinated by the NKVD sometime during the 30s in Mexico.
In the 1920's, Leon Trotsky opposed the bureaucracy and policies of Josef Stalin. As a result, he was removed from power in 192,7 and deported from the Soviet Union in 1929. He found asylum in Mexico and continued his opposition to the Stalinist government. He and most of his family were killed on Stalin's orders.
Leon Trotsky was Stalin's main rival inside the Soviet Union. Stalin had him deported and finally assasinated. Adolf Hitler was Stalin's main rival outside the USSR. The Russian army invaded Germany and found Hitler dead.
Trotsky
Well he had a few such as Trotsky, Lenin, and the Soviet people as a whole.
As far as Marxism in Russia was concerned, Leon Trotsky saw the spread of this ideology as the natural result of conflicts among the power brokers in Russia. He saw that the Russian intelligentsia was indulging in populist political theories with the idealistic revival of the peasantry and its rejection of capitalism. At the same time the intelligentsia was being courted by capitalists who were baiting them with rewards of wealth that would generated by supporting this class of Russians. From Trotsky's viewpoint the intelligentsia came to its senses when the bourgeois intelligentsia realized that Marxism was the answer to Russia's problems. Marxism, for Trotsky, ended any more leanings to Populism and its failed past.

Trotsky used his pen to oppose Joseph Stalin, his political arch enemy in the Bolshevik/Communist Party. After Stalin had Trotsky expelled from the Communist Party and then from the country, Trotsky wrote books and articles often criticizing Stalin and how he was betraying Marxism and the Revolution by his dictatorial ways.

Pseudo-Marxism refers to interpretations or practices that claim to be based on Marxist ideology but actually distort or misinterpret its fundamental principles. This could include attempts to use Marxism to justify authoritarianism, promote inequalities, or deviate from the core goals of achieving a classless society and worker empowerment.

Leon Trotsky had a low opinion of the Russian peasantry, and believed they were a source of problems for Soviet plan for socialism. His one positive possibility was that when there was a revolution in Germany in the 16th century, the peasants there followed the lead urban political parties. This was his hope for Russian peasants.
Bolshevik Leon Trotsky found himself in deep trouble by the unexpected death of Vladimir Lenin. In the years between 1923 and 1928, Trotsky was both a political leader and intellectual guide of the left opposition groups. The left wing of the Soviet communist party was against the despotism of Stalin.Trotsky's skill at conveying the true meaning of Marxism became a threat to Stalin. Trotsky's proven abilities as an active communist, a key part of the 1917 revolution, was feared by Stalin and his supporters.
Stalin and Trotsky had different views on many issues regarding Marxism - Leninism. The most significant difference was that Trotsky can be said to have been a true Marxist, while Stalin took a more "practical" view on how Marxism should be applied to the Soviet Union. Another key difference was that Trotsky believed that debate and different points of view on various issues were healthy for the communist party. On the other hand, Stalin believed that decisions, once made, were not open for discussion.
Stalins Brigade was created in 1936.
