As Aesop was a slave and he lived prior to the time of Christ marriage would not have been allow the likes of him.

And while it is true he was a slave (but eventually freed), slaves weren't expressly forbidden to wed. Usually slaves were bred though, like livestock. And because Aesop is widely regarded to have been disfigured in some way and is often depicted as being ugly, misshapen or even as a dwarf, I find it unlikely that any man wouldn't have allowed his daughter to marry a man in his condition, even more so as a slave.
