No, the Holocaust was secular and had almost nothing to do with religion. The key concept was race, which is not a religious issue. Jews who had converted to Christianity and their children and grandchildren were persecuted and killed, too.

To regard the Holocaust as some kind of bizarre religious issue would be highly misleading. The key point was that the Nazis saw the Jews as Communists (or, to use the term that was fashionable at the time, Bolshevists) and the Holocaust was part of a wider campaign against what the Nazis saw as racially transmitted 'Judeo-Bolshevism'.
