Yes, several people managed to survive the incident, some even with only minor injuries, but unfortunatly, most of them did not.




There were several thousand survivors who were in the buildings, but were evacuated to safety before they collapsed. All the survivors were on the lower levels below where the planes hit, everybody who was above the level of impact did not survive.

20 people escaped from the impact zone of the South Tower and only 4 people from floors above that.
