rest, at-ease, parade rest, stand-by
Pretty much none. With the onset of the civil war the corps was divided like the rest of the nation. Much of the marine corp's leadership was in the South so the corps fell into disarray and never fought in the civil war with any organized units.
Exactly one. General Roy S. Geiger succeeded Army General Simon Bolivar Buckner during the battle of Okinawa as the Commander of the U. S. Tenth Army, The rest of the story is even more amazing. Geiger was a Marine Aviator, Marine Wing Commander, commander of the Cactus Air Force at Guadacanal, a winner of the Navy Cross in both World Wars and living proof that every Marine is a Rifleman.
Im sure this differs form military to military but in the American Marine Corps the answer is no except in very specific circumstances. For example if an American Marine was awarded a symbolic or medal type flower by a foreign head of state at a special dinner or something like that they would then wear it for the rest of the event or evening so as not to insult the other country but then they would not wear it after that.
They have four seasons like the rest of us. But much warmer
there are exactly 1 million currently This is completely incorrect. There are only about 1.4 million personnel TOTAL in the armed forces. There are about 300 officers who have attained the rank of GENERAL. there are exactly 1 million currently There are 39 active military four star rank officers in US military. These positions are restricted by law. The most out of place four star officer is actually in the Public Health Service. The rest are in the actual military, to include the Coast Guard.
4 rest, parade rest, at ease, fall out
The only UH-60's flown by the Marine Corps are flown by HMX-1. The Marine Corps uses the UH-1 for similar missions throughout the rest of the fleet...
The Marine Corps flag features the Branch's emblem, which is that of an eagle holding a banner with the motto "Semper Fidelis" and standing on top of a globe, which is diagonally intersected by a large anchor. A banner entitled "United States Marine Corps" is located under the eagle and globe. The background is a bright red; the eagle, continents and anchor are a gold; and the rest of the globe is in black and white.
You go to an Armed Services Recruiting Center and express your interest in enlistment to the Marine Corps recruiter. They pretty much guide you the rest of the way.
To be eligible for retirement benefits from the Marine Corps, you generally need to serve for a minimum of 20 years. Once you have completed 20 years of service, you may be eligible for a pension or retirement pay, which can provide you with income for the rest of your life. The exact amount of the pension will depend on factors such as your rank and length of service.

If they are in uniform. Otherwise it is an honorific that has little relationship to the rest of the world. If they are a senior officer, I would be inclined to use their rank.

as with the rest of the united states, you must be 21 to legally consume alchohol. The only exception is that currently the commadant of the marine corps recently authorized underage marines to consume alchohol as special events.
The Marine Corps will require a High School Diploma. The GED may be a possibility; however you should contact the nearest Marine Corps Recruiting Office for detailed information. The Marine Corps at this time (2009) will only allow about 5% of the recruiting mission to be GEDs, and the rest require a high school diploma. With enough college credits you do not need a high school diploma and will be counted as a high school graduate. I'm not sure how many credits are needed, though.
