Latitude, the gunculture
The seasons of Australia are opposite to those in the US because of their locations on earth. Australia is located in the southern hemisphere whilst America is in the northern hemisphere. So when it is summer in the US (because the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun, therefore closer), it must be winter in Australia (because the southern hemisphere is tilted away from the sun, therefore further from the sun).
That the things that unite us as Australians are always more important and more substantial than the things that might from time to time divide us.
on a regular atlas, Australia is southeast from the US
Australia did not acquire its independence from the US. The US has never had any claim to any part of Australia. Both countries were initially colonised by Britain, and each, in turn, acquired its independence from Britain.
Australia is not shaped by the USA. There are some things the Australian government tries to follow from the USA, but mostly the Australian people do not allow this. Australia has its own culture, its own agriculture, its own industry, and its own minerals. Contrary to what most outsiders think, we even have electricity.
If it is winter in Australia, it is summer in the US. The Northern and Southern Hemispheres have opposite seasons.
they are the land down under there seasons are opposite us just not as cold
because Australia is on the other side of the world with the exact opposite seasons as us, so when its winter here its summer there.
as Australia and the US are on opposite sides of the pacific ocean, have a look at an atlas or map and look for the countries which are in the pacific, some of which are Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.
The country that is exactly opposite the United States on the globe is Australia. If you were to draw a line from the center of the Earth through the United States, it would come out on the other side in Australia.
Summer. It's the opposite to us (Australia).

Because Argentina is on the opposite hemisphere. Argentina is in the Southern hemisphere and the U.S. is in the Northern hemisphere so the nominal seasons correspond with the temporal seasons.
The city opposite the globe from Chicago, Illinois would be Perth, Australia. This is based on the concept of antipodes, which are points diametrically opposite to each other on the Earth's surface.
No, quite the opposite. The Republican party in the US is the more conservative of the two US parties.
opposite does not accept it gives things to the acceptors
Traditionally (and inacurately) the British Isles. In truth there is no land mass directly opposite (antipodal to) Australia.
