The solid gold coffin, the solid gold mask and the shrines around the sarcophagus are all real. There were several pieces of furniture including a throne and bed. There was at least one chariot, and many items of clothing and jewelry. It was packed with many other riches riches, even though in comparison to most other royal tombs it was very small. The reason it contained so much is because it was not repeatedly vandalized as were pretty much every other tomb in the valley. Robbers did enter Tut's tomb, but apparently they were found and stopped. The Necropolis priesthood hastily tidied up after the robbers and re-sealed the tomb entrance with the Necropolis seal. Later, unknowingly, workers' huts from other tomb building projects were erected over the entrance to Tut's tomb, helping to conceal it. The tomb remained untouched after that until it was discovered by Carter in 1922. Link 04 below contains some interesting video segments.
