Nero, although temperamental, was a fairly successful ruler until the last few years of his reign. His failures were not to have completed the canal through the isthmus of Corinth and the inland waterway connecting Rome and Naples. His generosity could also be entered in his failure list. After his tour of Greece, he exempted the province from taxation, without taking into consideration that Greece was one of the empire's wealthiest possessions. The treasury suffered from this, but Nero's lifestyle and expenditures stayed the same. His biggest failure was allowing his mother to wield so much power.
what were his failures
mostly, he had some accomplishments and some failures.
The Civil Rights Movement had some failures or partial failures in some of its objectives, including economic discrimination and poverty, although laws were passed. Some schools were integrated, but the neighborhoods were not.
yes marco polo did have some failures in his adventure and he went to jail.
Nero was not the worst persecutor. The worse persecution of Christians, the Great Persecution, occurred some 240 years later under Diocletian.

Nero's best known failure was the fire that destroyed much of Rome in A.D. 64. Nero killed his Mother, Agrippina, in A.D. 59. Nero divorced his first wife, Octavia, and then had her killed so he could marry Poppaea Sabina (the former wife of a military officer). Nero would also have her killed a few years later. Nero also had Roman senators killed because they questioned his actions. So, as you can see, Nero wasn't a very compassionate, popular, or a wise ruler.
