My neighbor owns a large parcel of land that surrounds our home on 3 sides. Prior to their purchase and our purchase there was an encroachment of a couple of feet, probably about 20"x 3-4ft on one side which was used as parking and on the opposite side a yard barn that sticks over their property by about one foot. He has purchased all sides and we have mowed around that area to keep weeds away. He told us that this was okay, now he says we are using his property when we are only maintaining it and have the same encroachments, which are all more than one acre away from his home. We are considering selling and would like to know what to do.
