There are many good ones, but Spartacus (1960) should not be missed. The Fall of the Roman Empire (1964) is another favorite of mine. It was a failure with critics and audiences, but Martin Scorsese also counts it as a favorite. The movie Gladiator (2000) was a semi-remake of this story, but it was a huge critical and commercial hit, and it is also one of the best. The movie Gladiator and Attila The Hun were the best movies even if Attila the hun movie was kinda a little fake when they showed the battle scene.

If you are into musicals, 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum' is great.
