Judicial Precedent - where a member of the judiciary (i.e. a Judge) establishes a principle or rule which gives guidance to future cases.

European Law - as the UK is part of the European Union, European Directives made by members of the EU which update the laws in all European Countries.

Delegated Legislation - this is where the democratically elected members of Parliament create 'Parent Acts' allowing other people to create legislation without following the lengthy law making system.
