I have an eight story building, of which, I am the Building Engineer. I have a current Tenant that wishes to lease, for a day, a Vacancy that is 3,500 Sq Ft. All open space. They expect 100 folks to show up for a one day seminar. There is a kitchen in the space, the restrooms are just outside the Suite doors, and the space is next to the Main building entry lobby, at grade level, for easy evacuation in the event of a fire.

The fire department is who determines the occupancy limits in public buildings. It is important to not go over the occupancy limit they have determined.
Occupancy sensing light switches help save energy in buildings by automatically turning off lights when a room is unoccupied, reducing unnecessary electricity usage.
In Missouri, occupancy limits for apartments are typically enforced by local municipalities through building codes and zoning ordinances. Landlords may also establish their own occupancy policies, which must comply with state and local regulations. Additionally, housing authorities or local housing agencies may oversee compliance with fair housing laws, ensuring that occupancy standards do not discriminate against tenants.
Occupancy signs are regulated to indicate the maximum number of occupants allowed in a building or space, primarily for safety and compliance with building codes. These signs must be clearly visible and legible, often placed near entrances or in areas where occupancy limits are enforced. Regulations may vary by jurisdiction, but they typically require that occupancy limits be determined based on factors like the building's size, use, and safety systems. Failure to comply can result in fines or safety hazards.
There is no set size for a public restroom. The size depends on the architecture of the building and its occupancy.
I believe in the state of Pennsylvania, occupancy limits are 2 people per bedroom. Believe it or not, a child isn't considered and occupant until the age of 2. At that point, yes, a landlord can evict you for being over occupied.
The occupancy ordinance in Clairton, PA, regulates the number of occupants allowed in residential properties to ensure safety and compliance with zoning laws. Typically, these ordinances set limits based on the size of the dwelling and local safety standards. For specific details, including occupancy limits and any recent changes, it is best to consult the City of Clairton's official website or contact local government offices directly.
You will need to consult the codes book.

A certificate of occupancy is a document which is issued by a local government which declares it suitable for occupancy. Being suitable for occupancy is decided by inspecting the building to make sure that it meets requirements for local codes.
