Great-Grandparents
No, it is not possible not to receive DNA from all the great grandparents because our parents have their DNAs.
I don't know what it is called, but it is possible. There are eight great-parents, A and B, C and D, E and F and finally G and H. Each couple has 2 children each, A and B have I and J, C and D have K and L, E and F have M and N and G and H have O and P. Now I and K have a child Q, J and L have a child R, M and O have a child called S and N and P have a child called T. Now Q and R are double first cousins to eachother and S and T are also double first cousins. Now if Q and S have a child U, and R and T have a child V. Now U and V share all eight great parents, but no grandparents or parents. U's parents are Q and S, grandparents are I and K and M and O. V's Parents are R and T, grandparents are Jand L and N and P. A,B,C,D,E,F,G and H are greatgrandparents to all of them.
