What are the reasons for protest against Iraq war?

Because it is causing our economy to go down in it profits and making people scared and frightened to do certain things. it is also the only way government w3ill hear them and it is not why we want peace it is why are we in this war?

The main reason for the protests against the U.S president George Bush was most felt that they did not have enough proof that Iraq had neu kclar weapons. And because their friends and relatives were killed in Iraq.

1. People that have been affected by the operation; parents, relatives, or friends of someone that is in the service.

2. People that fear an escalation of violence; or because Southwest Asia is the region of biblical history, and these people fear the end of the world (an Armageddon).

3. Professional protesters (like professional mourners who are paid to attend funerals).

4. Although many people don't like to hear it; many protesters are just plain bored, and need some excitement in their lives, and possibly gain an opportunity to get on television (make the news) or get published in the newspaper, etc (gain some notoriety).

Most protesters had two basic motivations: first, a sincere conviction that the war was politically futile and morally wrong; second, a desire to stay home and enjoy sex, drugs, and rock and roll. As a willing citizen-soldier, I disagreed with them for a long time, but eventually came to agree that the war was not winnable, a waste of American lives and resources. However, I NEVER shared their self-absorbed hedonism and lack of patriotism.
