The title given to rulers often varied by culture and time period, but common titles included "king" or "queen" for monarchs, "emperor" for those ruling over an empire, and "pharaoh" in ancient Egypt. In some regions, titles like "sultan," "shah," or "duke" were used to denote authority and nobility. Additionally, titles could reflect specific roles or religious significance, such as "caliph" in Islamic governance.
Well, honey, Egypt got its act together and kicked those Hyksos invaders to the curb. They regrouped, strategized, and reclaimed their power like the bosses they were. It was a game of thrones, ancient Egyptian style, and they weren't about to let some outsiders mess with their pyramid party.
Pharaoh. In those times it literally meant good house.
Definitely ancient Rome would win in a battle against ancient Egypt. The Roman armies were better equipped and better trained and had the grit to keep pounding the ememy. The Egyptian armies, especially those when Rome's armies were at its strongest, were mostly mercenaries hired by the Ptolemies.Definitely ancient Rome would win in a battle against ancient Egypt. Yes, because Egypt was first founded around 2200-2700 BC. ___________________ While it is true that Egypt's history goes back thousands of years, and the power and influence of ancient Egypt were great, the current political, cultural, ethnic and religious culture of Egypt has little to do with those ancient roots. There are connections, to be sure, but we hardly see the 'ancient civilization' functioning when we visit Egypt today.
How do the landmarks of China and India differ from (or resemble) those of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia
ancient Egypt is located in north east Africa. Egypt itself is a country its current borders are not much different from those in ancient times
The only one of those ancient sights that remains today is the Great Pyramid in Egypt.

Women of Egypt had power if they were fertile, they were considered successful. Women in Egypt could also become pharoah, if they were married into it and the previous pharoah had no sons, but daughters. Women in ancient Egypt had a lot more freedom than those in most other ancient civilizations. They had the right to own and sell their lands. Some of those with education were priestesses, had jobs in administration, were supervisors, treasurers or even occassionally advisors to the pharaohs. Those of the lower classes could be hairdressers, weavers, dancers, mourners or prostitutes. Women also took care of children and the household, and would work on farms if they were of that class.

Of course. Every country that has ever existed has had laws. In Ancient Egypt, there were numerous codices of the Pharaoh's edicts and those of his ministers.
