Male slaves wore a short linen kilt (scenti) whilst their female counterparts a tubular dress called a kalisaris extending from their shoulder to their knees or ankles. If you were an important slave you wore the same as your master. How well dressed you were showed how wealthy your master or mistress was.
The slaves who worked building the temples and monuments, working in the quarries or mines were always naked.
