King George III wa simportant for many reasons. In the Revolutionary war he was important because America was fighting against the British, and he was ruling over england at the time. He was important during the French and Indian war because he was king over England during that time, and England was fighting the French in that war ( it's called the French and Indian war because England enlisted the Native Americans help in defeating the French).
The stamp act was made by the king of England so that Britain could pay the debt they owed during the French and Indian War. All the taxes paid by the colonies were for England so they could use it to pay back all the damages and weapons used/done in the French and Indian War.
