Guido Fawkes (Guy) in 1605 was close but never got the chance to bomb Parliament, he attempted to, but never succeeded as he was caught, then tortured (hung, drawn and quarted before he was burnt on his own pile of gunpowder, (although i suspect, he wasn't burnt on gun powder) & that is why we have a Guy on a bonfire at Guy Fawkes celebration, pleasant... huh? Check out wikipedia, they have all about him on it.

Guy Fawkes and Isaac Fawkes are not directly related; they are actually the same person. Guy Fawkes was an English soldier and a key figure in the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, which aimed to assassinate King James I. The name "Isaac Fawkes" does not correspond to a historical figure associated with the Gunpowder Plot or Guy Fawkes.
The Guy Fawkes mask represents rebellion against a government. The reason for this is because Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Parliament building on November 5, 1605.
