After the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral in 1881, Wyatt Earp continued to pursue a career in law enforcement and became a lawman in various towns, including Tombstone and later in California. Following the tumultuous events in Tombstone, he and his family moved to San Francisco, where he engaged in various business ventures, including gambling. Earp eventually settled in Los Angeles, where he lived until his death in 1929, and he also worked in the film industry as a consultant for Westerns.
