What did immigrants bring to the U.S.?

They changed the landscape and the environment. Many different foods have come with people from other places, and people came with new ideas or inventions. The steam train and the spinning Jenny ( the first weaving machine) started in England. Andrew Carnegie a Scottish immigrant created a massive banking/ business systems and built museums for cities. Andrew Jackson 7th president parents came from Ireland. The Irish brought art, music, and writers as well as Halloween and the Jack O' Lantern. James Joyce was from Ireland . The early Germans to colonies printed the newspaper and gave us Christmas trees.Millions of people have contributed their stories, art, music, songs, foods, and their lives to the creation of the U.S.
