Well, they wore tunics. The males wore them down to their knees and the women down to their ankles. These tunics were made from linen, which is one of the earliest fibers to be made into string and cloth. It comes from the Flax plant which grows a lot across the Mediterranean region. Some men might have worn kilts, which are like tunics, only they don't cover the top half of the body. Females didn't wear these though, they only wore the tunics.
Whether you were rich or poor doesn't matter because everyone wore this Flax linen. If you were rich, you might have had it pleated or folded, and you probably had a lot more gold decorations on you than the poor.
