Suffragists
Public opinion on suffragists varied widely during the movement. Supporters admired their commitment to women's rights and saw them as pioneers for social justice, while opponents often viewed them as disruptive or radical, fearing that granting women the vote would undermine traditional societal roles. Ultimately, the suffragist movement sparked significant debate about gender equality and citizenship.
