There were many great artists of the Renaissance period. The most popular were Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael. Most people have to remember that there were way more artists during that time period. There were also Giotto, David, Albrect Durer, Botticelli, and Correggio.

While the Medici family never actually ruled Florence, they had control and influenced many citizens. Their power mainly came from being the official bankers of the papacy. They were very wealthy, and also dealt with many of the great painters of the Renaissance.
A family bond was so important in Renaissance Italy because it was a source of great security in the dangerous urban world of Renaissance Italy.
Renaissance painters and sculptors focused on the accurate representation of human anatomy, studying the underlying structure of muscles and bones to enhance realism. They emphasized proportion, perspective, and the play of light and shadow to create lifelike figures. Additionally, careful observation of live models allowed artists to capture natural poses and expressions, contributing to the overall depth and emotional resonance of their work. This dedication to realism marked a significant departure from the stylized forms of earlier periods.
Because of the many great artists, sculptors, goldsmiths, etc. there- such as Lorenzo Ghiberti
Artists from the Northern Renaissance specialized in a type of paint called oils. The oil medium allowed the painters to exhibit great detail and in their works of art. Textures of wood or cloth and also reflections off mirrors were all created in great detail because of the oil paints.
great attention to detail
There are many great Renaissance painters. While very similar in style, the painter with the greatest beaty is a matter of subjective opinion. For me, it would have to be Michelangelo or Da Vinci. Whihch Renaissance painters are best is a matter of personal taste and preference. I personally like the work of Cosimo de' Medici
The great painter Raphael as well as 3 other painters, two kings, and several others. In the Renaissance, it was a popular burial site for prominent figures.
Michelangelo's work was different from all other sculptors during the Renaissance, he claimed to see a form struggling to get out of every block of marble that he chose. He made them beautiful and realistic, his 'David' shows great attention to detail in the musculature and tension, 'The Pieta' is another, some parts so highly polished the marble looks like skin.
yes they where quite famous sculptors
You can you finish sculptures of great baseball sluggers at the Whacks Museum.
Italian painters emphasized the beauty of the human body. They wanted to show the ideal human form and face. Leonardo and Raphael created beautiful Madonnas, athletic figures that seem to spring to life. Artists in northern Europe, on the other hand, painted with great attention to detail, even if the detail was not flattering. If a merchant had a wart on his face, a northern European artist was likely to include that wart. For the northern European painter, capturing the detail was less important than rendering the real in great detail.
A Renaissance. (Like the Renaissance)
