It looks like poor men wore largely what they'd worn for the previous several centuries; a simple tunic, hose or breeches, and, if they could afford to, a jacket or tabard.

During the Tudor reign the class system was very prevalent. Men of the nobility would either inherit their family's estate or join the clergy. The men who inherited would maintain the estate and the family name by participating in court. Men who were in the lower, working classes were either farmers, shop owners or servants.
