A manual transmission... Not sure what you are looking for here.
In the United States, a gearbox is commonly referred to as a "transmission." This term is used for both automatic and manual systems in vehicles that transfer power from the engine to the wheels. While "gearbox" might be understood, it's less commonly used in American automotive terminology.
An industrial gearbox is a mechanical device that transmits power from a motor to machinery by reducing the speed of the motor output while increasing torque. It consists of gears, shafts, and bearings that work together to convert the input rotational speed into a desired output speed and torque. The arrangement of gears, such as helical or bevel gears, determines the gearbox's efficiency and performance characteristics. By adjusting gear ratios, the gearbox can match the motor's speed to the requirements of the driven equipment, ensuring optimal operation.

I think the best option would be to try to call Harbor Freight since they are pretty much the only place I have seen that stocks them.
