If we are talking inscriptions on Austrian/Hungarian coinage, what it is intended to say is that the dude on the coin is the king (rex) of:

Hvng = Hungary

Boh = Bohemia

Lomb = Lombardy

Ven = Venice

Gal = Galicia

Lod = Lodomeria

Ill = Illyria

Don't know what A A stands for, but Franz Josef I was also the Archduke of Austria.

The other side of the coin should probably have the dude's head, name ("Franz. Ios."), and some stuff about how he is also emperor of Austria ("Avstriae Imperator").

If we are not talking inscriptions on Austrian/Hungarian coinage, then I'm as confused as the next guy.
