polands are not in the cold war
Because it was a cold war (no war).
Peace of the Cold War was from a settlement. The Cold War was a long and hard war.
The Korean war was the first hot war in the cold war.
If you mean Cold Harbor, Virginia, it was the battle of Cold Harbor. Michael Montagne
In today's post-cold war atmosphere, the concept of deterrence, specifically Mutually Assured Destruction, does not fit congruently with international relations, military and otherwise. The deterrence that existed in the cold war assumed certain conditions which may not be applicable in today's conflicts. For example, cold war deterrence assumes that leaders truly care about the survival of their subjects, and that there are no rogue leaders with access to nuclear power who would initiate a first strike without contemplating the return of fire. Besides these reasons, there were many instances when deterrence, though coming through in the end of the day, (the Cuban Missile Crisis) almost failed humanity. The answer to the question then, is this: plausible, but not a good path to go down if it can be avoided. Bottom line is it worked in the Cold War but came very close to failing, and it requires inherently unsafe conditons.
No - the distance is too far and objects that far out could easily be detected. Nuclear deterrence during the Cold War was based on a constant shell game, and short flight times for missiles.
deterrence!! :)
Deterrence was a Cold War strategy employed by the United States and Soviet Union to prevent nuclear war through the threat of massive retaliation. The idea was that both sides would refrain from attacking each other out of fear of the devastating consequences. This policy aimed to maintain peace by maintaining a balance of power and instilling fear of mutual destruction.
what do you mean the u.s never had a cold war with itself
Do you mean, "Why was the era AFTER world war 2 called the cold war?" Because no one calls the era of WW2 the cold war.
no cold war means that no bombs fell or killing hot war does mean death cold war people just hated each other.
I wonder if you mean re-emerge, as Germany is much older than the Cold War.
pie
is A
I suspect that one reason this question has not been answered is that it is not well formed. Do you mean that the approaches help to end the Cold War, or do you mean that the approaches helped to understand the end of the Cold War?
now do you mean after the cold war or during. if during it was from all the fear of nuclear attack
