After Oliver Cromwell's death, the power of the government was passed to his son, Richard Cromwell. However, after two year's of Richard's death, the people demanded the monarchy back and Charles II was reinstated as King of England.
I think Thomas Cromwell looked after all the government for Henry early in his reign. I hope this helped lol
Yes, Oliver Cromwell ruled before Charles II. Cromwell served as the Lord Protector of the Commonwealth of England, Scotland, and Ireland from 1653 until his death in 1658. After Cromwell's death, the monarchy was restored in 1660, leading to the reign of Charles II. Thus, Cromwell's rule occurred during the interregnum between the execution of Charles I and the restoration of the monarchy with Charles II.
Well he married 6 women, he hurt his leg in a jousting accident, he became head of the church of England, executed about 72000 people during his reign and that's all i can think of! hope this helps! Oh and he also had a few affairs

Shakespeare's Richard III is a play which does deal in a rough way with the reign of the English king. However, some of the events depicted may not have happened at all, and others are doubtful. And as is usual with plays based on historic events, the events have been collapsed so the events of years look like they took place at the same time. The play should not be considered a reliable biography of Richard III.

I suppose you could say both. Towards the beginning of his reign he was a good king. During the beginning of his reign he didn't believe in divorce. He turned monstrous towards the end of his reign. Personally, I think he reached his breaking point with the execution of Anne Boleyn or the death of Jane Seymour. Towards the end of his reign he trusted no one. He lost trust in Cromwell after the disastrous marriage to Anne of Cleaves. The Duke of Norfolk took this as an opportunity to get rid of Cromwell. Henry had Cromwell executed and regretted it for the rest of his life.
