Evidence suggesting that Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plotters were set up includes the involvement of government informants, particularly Robert Catesby, and the suspicious timing of the plot's discovery. Some historians argue that certain individuals within the government may have orchestrated the plot to justify repressive measures against Catholics. Additionally, the lack of concrete evidence linking the plotters to a larger conspiracy raises questions about the authenticity of the charges against them. These factors contribute to theories that Fawkes and his co-conspirators were manipulated for political gain.
coz he was nearly about to blow up the whole of London that's why!
Guy Fawkes was arrested on November 5, 1605, and initially remained silent about the identities of his co-conspirators. However, after enduring torture, he began to reveal their names within a few days. By November 7, he had disclosed the names of several plotters involved in the Gunpowder Plot.

Basically,, In 1605 Guy Fawkes set up a huge plot with many other people (go on www.guyfawkesplot.co.uk/peopleintheplan to find out who) and they set up a fire. Guy Fawkes WAS the leader unlike what people say about his team mate. Guy Fawkes wasn't actually called Guy Fawkes. His real name was Gary Hawkes but they called him Guy Fawkes because of 'TheGreatSignature'. The Great Signature was a piece of paper which was signed by Fawkes but got torn. It said... G y awkes. So people made his name Guy Fawkes. This was in 1601. Guy Fawkes set up the plot. Does this help? Hope so... :)
Lol no clue

The main gunpowder plotters involved in the 1605 conspiracy were Robert Catesby, Thomas Wintour, Guy Fawkes, John Wright, Christopher Wright, Thomas Percy, and Robert Keyes. Their plan aimed to assassinate King James I and blow up the House of Lords to end Protestant rule in England. Guy Fawkes is the most well-known figure due to his role in guarding the explosives. The plot was ultimately foiled, leading to their arrests and executions.
The plotters of the Gunpowder Plot met at the Duck and Drake Inn in London. This pub served as a gathering place for the conspirators, including Guy Fawkes and Robert Catesby, as they planned their scheme to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605. The inn provided a discreet location for their discussions and coordination of the plot.
He tried the blow up the Houses of Parliament in London but he did not succeed.
yes Guy Fawkes was set up, as there was letters and messages being sent to the lord telling him that there was a plot to blow up the parlment but the letter was not approached or read after the arrival of the letter. Also why would guy fawkes be able to smuggle gun bowder barrels into the parliment..or why was there barrles of gun powder still in the room that he had rented, surely they would of been removed as they were explosive..or where they put there on purpose.
