They were promised Roast and lovely Vegetables each day, with Plum Pudding for Dessert. Unfortunately this wasn't the case and the children had eaten the food they least expected to have.

the industrial revolution changed life for people, it stopped the workage of people at homes, which means they had no business, no money to buy food, or houses ect.. it changed the life of children working at the factories eg. a lot of them died due to the fact of getting stuck in machines ect
Well, before the industrial revolution, people worked at the house and made their own food. While, during the Industrial revolution, people worked 12-16 hour days! Kids even missed school to work in the factories!
The population growth (a change in the industrial revolution) is often questioned whether it is a cause or a consequence of the industrial revolution. The factories created a need for marrying earlier because children were working in them. For example the average death rate was just 19 in Manchester. Since people were getting married early they were also having children early. Thus the growth in population. Even though this supplied larger workface, it also created greater demand for foods and goods. This links with the change from open field to enclosure farming. So therefore i believe that the poulation growth was a consequence of the industrial revolution that created need for for food and other goods.
The Industrial Revolution was harmful to children because of diseases carried by many people developing the land. Also because of the lack of food and weapons to protect themselves from others.

Industrial revolution helped us produce more medicines, food and we started taking care of our sanitation.
During th English industrial revolution, anyone could work, there wee children as young as five working in the factories, however they also went down into the mines, worked as maids and nurses and worked on farms. On the whole, children aged between five and sixteen did a lot of recognizable work during the industrial revolution. In the Russian industrial revolution, Conrad Stalin made the peasants do all the work and give all the grain to the cities, so despite the cities doing the work, the country starved and provided the food.

The agrarian revolution preceded the industrial revolution and laid the foundation for it by increasing agricultural productivity, leading to surplus food production and population growth.
