You mean "Vietnam". There were many firearms used in Vietnam by the U.S. The USGI started the war using M14 but switched shortly in the war to the M16 as the primary rifle. As for machine guns, they used the M-60. Pistols were Beretta 9mm and a few 1911 .45 because some people were smart and keep their 1911 from before the switch to 9mm. There are many more firearms used in Vietnam by the US, but those were the main players.
Guns are banned in VN.. Even toy guns! So you can only get those Nerf guns at a near future.
Copper/brass: Used for bullets and fuses for every bomb and artillery shell (includes naval guns).
Yes, by some of the indigent mountainous tribes they are still used for hunting and protection. If you mean in the various wars, all I can say is that the main combatants used guns.
their guns
To the US military world...guns on jets and the validation of the TOW & SAGGER anti-tank systems. All of which were either brought back (the guns on jets) or combat tested in Vietnam.
Monitors, usually equipped with 11" guns; Vietnam Monitors had M49 105mm howitzer guns.
The F22 Raptor would only have smart weapons and no guns on it had not been for the Vietnam war.
