Czar Nicholas II,along with his family,was killed on July 17th, 1918.

After they got moved to Siberia and into the Ipatiev House,they got woken up very early that morning. The Bolsheviks told them there was an unrest in the town and they were being moved to the cellar for safety. When they came downstairs, the family and servants got shot to death.
