As they came through the camps gates from the boxcars people were separated according to gender, age, health, and skills. The people deemed unable to work like the sick, elderly, and children were sent to the gas chambers. Those who were deemed able to work were put into work crews and into forced labor.
Basically, because they couldn't work. Twin childrenhowever, if found, were not killed immediately at Auschwitz.
The women, children, the elderly, the sick, and the weak. They either gassed or shot, nut mostly gassed. The Nazis also did unspeakable and sickening
On arrival at Auschwitz the Jews were sorted into two groups. Those who were 'selected' (chosen) as fit for work were used as slave laborers. The rest were gassed as soon as practical. Kids under 15 (sometimes 14), visibly pregnant women and the elderly were gassed as unfit for work. This was standard procedure. Those considered fit for work were registered and tattooed with a number and then sent to forced labour sections of the camp, where they had to do heavy manual labour on grossly insufficient food. Most women, children, and elderly people were told they were going to the "showers" to be cleansed of lice, but, they were gassed and cremated as soon as possible. Healthy adult men and women healthy were worked until they were unable to do any more back breaking slave labor, then they were gassed and cremated, and replaced by new slave labor. A small number of Jews were used for "medical experiments".
Usually when they arrived, the are separated through a process known as the selection process. This simply was separating the weak from the strong and this was how families were separated and destroyed. The stronger side were sent to do force labor work and the weaker usually consisted of woman, children, elderly and sick were killed.
Workhouses were where poor people who had no job or home lived. They earned their keep by doing jobs in the workhouse. Also in the workhouses were orphaned (children without parents) and abandoned children, the physically and mentally sick, the disabled, the elderly and unmarried mothers.

Anyone who was unable to work was immediately sent to the gas chambers. This rule applied to the elderly, the sick and even the mothers of the Jewish children.
Poorly, 98% of sick and elderly Jews were killed.
She never had one. She was only dedicated to children, the poor, the ill / sick / disabled, and the elderly.
they get sick (happened to me!)
Mildew makes you sick because it gets inside of your eyes, on your skin, in your nose and throat, and into your lungs. Babies, children, and the elderly are the ones who are most sensitive to mildew.
sometimes Sioux left the elderly behind when they were to old to travel.

about 7 000 of the most sick and dieing inmates were left in the camp to be liberated.
heart failure
Only those who are elderly and already sick are dying.
There isn't an exact number for Jewish children escaping the concentration camps. Children, the sick, and the elderly were the first to be sent into the gas chambers (killed) because they were of no use to the Nazis; they weren't capable of doing heavy work.
