At children's party Brunel swallowed a coin. Everyone was worried. It was stuck in his throat. Brunel was very worried. The coin nearly killed him. After the surgery which failed (early tracheotomy), several days later the coin itself popped out. Everyone was shocked but also happy because he invented a frame in which he could be strapped and rocked upside-down in an effect to dislodge the coin.
