The Native American tribes had very little influence on the Europeans. The Europeans invaded North America and considered the people they found uncivilized. Had the Native American tribes influenced the Europeans today we would not have the environmental pollution or be fighting to stop an oil pipeline. The people believed that man was the caretaker of land and not owners. They farmed the forests and only used what they needed. In contrast the Europeans saw miles and miles of forests and lands that they believed was open and free because there was no king or fences to own the land. They also practiced environmental terrorism by bringing plants, animals, and insects not native to North American. Not only did the Europeans steal the ancestral lands of the Native Americans, but they discriminated, starved them, killed them, gave them diseases, and kill off their food sources. Too bad the Native Americans didn't have any influence we would be living in a different world.
