What is fundamental difference between Hooverville and Weedpatch in the book Grapes of Wrath?

In "The Grapes of Wrath," Hoovervilles are makeshift shantytowns where impoverished families, displaced by the Great Depression, live in desperate conditions, often on the outskirts of cities. In contrast, Weedpatch is a government-run camp that offers better living conditions, including access to sanitation and community support. While Hoovervilles symbolize the struggles and neglect faced by the poor, Weedpatch represents a more organized and humane approach to aiding displaced families, fostering a sense of community and dignity among its residents.
