The United States Government is made up of three branches: 1. The executive branch (president and vice- president) 2. The judicial branch (Supreme Court) 3. The legislative branch (Congress made up of the senate and house of representatives)
In the US, that just means Congress. The Executive branch is the president, and the Judicial branch is the Supreme Court.
The Legislative branch, commonly known as Congress, which comprises the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives, oversees the Library of Congress. The Legislative branch is that part of the government responsible for making laws, establishing the budget for all U.S. government agencies and projects, and appropriating money for the military and special programs.
The three branches of the government are the Legislative branch, the Executive branch, and the Judicial branch.There are three branches in the United States government. These branches would be legislative, judicial and executive.
