a simply amazing movie. the director's cut is the best version, and it shows who he really was. that's why they called the movie "Alexander" and not "Alexander the Great". his family plays a great part in his decisions. Alexander was the first human to achieve immortality and immortal glory. after his death, many said that it was Alexander was simply god in his human form changing the world, uniting western and eastern cultures. to this day, he is the only "person" to have successfully done so.

Don't watch movies for moral lessons I think :) No. The moral lesson is that your ambition should have no limits, despite it's consequences on Alexander. Endless ambition is what Alexander had, and he conquered the world in 8 years. Many said that Alexander was God himself in his human form uniting Western and Eastern cultures. To this day, Alexander is the only person to have done so, and that is why he was the first "human" to be granted immortality and eternal glory.
The surname is the name of the family. The "first name" in western cultures is the personal name of the individual. In some eastern cultures, the family name is given first and the personal name follows, so these English language terms become confusing when used in that context.
Alexander's legacy of introducing Greek culture to western Asia was transitory - it reverted back to local cultures as is obvious today. He did not venture into western Europe as his death pre-empted that. Civilisation has made its forwards and backwards marches over the past two millennia without the shadow of Alexander. He is interesting historically for his place in the world 2300 years ago, but had no lasting influence.
Love relationships are a little different between Eastern and Western cultures. There are more divorces in Eastern cultures than Western.
Yes, after Alexander the Great had established his Hellenistic empire, he somehow managed to diplomatically blend their eastern and western cultures. So, to answer your question, yes, the Hellenistic civilization is a blend of eastern and western cultures.
There are a ton of cultures. Examples are: Western, Eastern, Scandinavian, Medeterranian, Mayan
Eastern (Oriental) culture verses the Western (Occidental) culture.
There are many cultures in Europe, or in any country in Europe, much too many to name. But the most common, generic cultures would be identified in the regions of Europe. Scandinavia, Western Europe, Southern Europe, Central Europe, and Eastern Europe. Most of these cultures are drastically different. For example take Western and Eastern Europe. Western Europe's culture is modernized, technological, urban, etc. while Eastern Europe's still remains agricultural, less advanced, native, etc.
Most western cultures do not normally eat dogs. However in many eastern cultures dog meet is an acceptable food and is served as such.
Northeast Africa, eastern Europe, western and central Asia.
No. In Western countries you can only be legally married to one person at a time. If the person you "married" was already married to someone else your marriage is invalid. Your intended spouse must obtain a divorce from his/her spouse before they can marry you.
