The reason why the industrial revolution was so important is that this is the time that many machines were made. Ladies, I know you're going to freak out when you hear this but, we only had one outfit to wear. You would wear that outfit all the time until it falls off of you. You might find that gross but it's the truth. Clothing was very rare in the United States, because we can only make one thread in about a month, to make a dress would take years. So then when the industrial revolution started up in England, we stole some of their ideas. Now we can make hundreds of dresses in one day ladies. No more sagging dresses falling off of us.
