What is positive about war?

I do not support aggression in any way - it must be the last resort, but war does have some (albeit few) positive points:

1) We learn fighting tactics of the opponent

2) We find the problems or things that don't work in our own system of warfare

3) We can overthrow a corrupt regime and bring peace (i.e. the Nazi's) or institute a better system of governance (i.e. the Romans)

It's good because it can help people save others and settling arguments.

Sometimes wars must be fought to combat tyranny, but the only good thing to come out of war is its conclusion.
