Generally speaking: Native American's are not allowed to own any property, have any form of utility service, bank account, Identification(s), or any other thing of that nature - these things are only allowed to "American Citizens" who posses a Social Security number and like things. Please note that tribal governments who are not 'approved' by the US Government, and who become political subdivisions of the United States are not Native American (they by conversion become United States Citizens & Governments, and most are rejected by the tribal peoples). Because of this, tribal people are not allowed to travel, are commonly arrested and jailed under a host of laws and are labeled as "domestic terrorists" for refusing to join the USA and its culture; and or for continuing our original tribal governments.
