The Star-Spangled Banner is generally considered a fairly difficult song for most amateur singers since it has a range of an octave plus a major fifth. It's often played in B flat, which means the vocal part ranges through the entire treble clef from the Bb below middle C to the high F on the top line. (Many vocalists find it's much easier to deal with in the key of G instead, where the high note is a D.)
