Patty has to stay at a reformatory school for girls because she help Aton escape. every one there is mean to her. She is very sad about Aton's death and sad because she thought she lost his ring. She receives letters from her grandparents and her friend the reporter. No one but Ruth comes to visit her at the school. Ruth gives patty Aton's ring to that she has been keeping safe. And Patty continues the long wait till she can leave this school. And she decides when she is 18 to go meet Aton's parents. and that is the end. I hope helped
