The wall which extends across northern England is Hadrian's Wall. It stretched from Wallsend near Newcastle-upon Tyne to somewhere near the village of Bowness-on-Solway on the Solway Firth in Cumbria with a total length of 73-75 miles. However, it is not 2,100 years old. Its construction was started in 122 AD by the Roman emperor Hadrian and it was completed in 128 AD. Therefore, this wall is 1,885 years old.

How did the Indians get from India to Britain during World War 1?

The same way anybody would travel from India to Britain at that time - they would travel by steamship from India around Africa, then north through the Atlantic to England. Some probably traveled from India across the Pacific, through the Panama Canal and then across the Atlantic to England. Mass air travel across the major oceans did not really begin until after World War 2.
