As of 8/29/11 - - RELATIVE ONLY TO THE HURRICANE 'IRENE' EVENT:
A city-wide curfew is in effect for people of ALL ages from 11PM to 6 AM.
No punishment is stated but since it is a CITY regulation it probably falls under the classification of a City Ordnance, violation of which is a misdemeanor offense.
Curfew came from the term to "cover the fire"- the time of night when people prepared for sleep, and covered or banked their heating fires.

Baseball itself does not have a general curfew. Curfews can still be imposed by cities which host MLB ballparks, but none that are currently in existence have the ability to curtail the play of a game at a given time.

The bill of rights addresses cruel and unusual punishment. If you're 12 and have a curfew of 10 PM there's nothing the BoR can do. If your city has a curfew, live with it.
Yes 10 pm to 6 am.
Cedar Rapids only had a curfew in effect during the 2008 flood period and subsequent clean-up of dangerous properties. Currently, no curfew is in effect, even for juveniles.
The first offense for driving past curfew in New Jersey is a violation fine. It is usually a fine of 100 dollars.
The curfew in Dearborn Heights for a 17 year old minor is 10 pm. They cannot be out in public places from 10 pm until 6 am in the morning.
If you are under 18 and you are caught breaking curfew.....not only do you get in trouble with the cops...but your parents get cited with a certain amount of fee that they pay. And in some cases, they can even get arrested just because of you breaking curfew. It also depends in what city and state you're in..... So DONT break curfew!!!! =D

If your under 18 you have to be indoors by 11, unless you're coming back from an event (school, church, work, etc.) You can be past curfew if your with a legal guardian at all times.
I just spoke to a police officer. There are no blanket curfew for minors. New drivers have restrictions, but there are no rules outside the car. The only curfews are imposed on individuals by court order.
