Apparently it is worth $1.00. Color may have changed artificially either by having left it in a pants pocket and run through a washing machine or by it being subjected to a dye color by accident.
$20.00
Uh, wanna check those dates again? I believe you'll find the coin is 1776-1976.
The 1974 Simon Bolivar 20 Balboa weighs 130 grams, or 4.18 troy oz. It is .925 pure silver. Actual weight of silver is 3.85 oz. So multiply the current price of silver x 3.85 and you have the approx value.
Regular season: 1987, 1986, 1980, 1976 Bowl Games: 1974 Sugar Bowl (played 12/31/73) and 1975 Orange Bowl.
The Lives of Benjamin Franklin - 1974 was released on: USA: 21 November 1974
One dollar.
It's still worth one dollar.
Still one dollar....sorry : (
If the coin is a US Kennedy half dollar dated 1974 it has no silver in it and is face value.
1974 would make it an Eisenhower dollar, which is only worth face value.
2 dollars
Current retail is $2.40
50 cents
Its value is 20 Dollars, if it was much older then it would be a different story.
It's still worth exactly 50 cents.
With a date of 1974 the coin is a Eisenhower dollar not a liberty dollar, and in general none of the Eisenhower dollars struck for general circulation contain any silver or have more than face value. Only proof and uncirculated collectors coins sold from the Mint have premiums.
Not silver - copper-nickel. Face value only.
