What kind of clocks did ancient Egyptian people have?

They would have used waterclocks. Basically a large urn with lines running down denoting minutes/hours and a pinprick hole in the bottom to release the water. so if the water was refilled in midday the lines would tell the Egyptian how many hours past midday it was.

One of the most famous types of clocks used in ancient times is the sun dial. This clock consisted of an upright pole in the center of a circle, as the sun came up and down the shadow cast by the pole would let people know what time it was.
